Registration open for Create & Appreciate Painting Workshops

The Create & Appreciate Painting Workshops will help you fine-tune your foundational painting techniques while creating a beautiful scenery painting using acrylic paints.

Held at SHAK Makerspace, the classes will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 19, 26 and Sept. 2 and 9.), these workshops are recommended for participants 16 years and older with a basic knowledge of painting.

A graduate of the IUK Art School and recipient of the Greater Kokomo Downtown Association’s Creative & Culinary Entrepreneur Scholarship, Sienna Urbina will teach you various aspects of painting in the classes and each week will build on the previous weeks. You’ll gain valuable instruction whether you attend all or just one workshop.

You will receive valuable instruction as a group and an individual to further your own painting knowledge and practice.

• All supplies are provided.

• Registration to attend all 4 workshops is $100.

• Registration for one or more individual Friday evening workshops is $35 each.

• Attendees should wear clothing that can get dirty and/or bring an apron.

• Light refreshments will be served.
