What education/credentials are needed?

A review of the Indiana Core 40 Diploma notes 66.67% of the knowledge needed for Industrial Engineering Technologists and Technicians align with course standards found in this diploma. That means, you could already be on your way to a potential career in advanced or smart manufacturing. When it comes to paths forward, you have options.

Among your options is a great introductory course at Ivy Tech Community College. And, this course provides you with a mini-credential in Smart Manufacturing. Exposing you to some great opportunities and experiences, “SMDI 110 Introduction to Industrial Internet of Things” is a great way to transition to career opportunities in our region.
