Fresh flavors rooted in local tradition
At Windmill Grill, great food and friendly service come together to create a dining experience that feels right at home in Indiana. Inspired by the windmills that dot the local landscape, the restaurant prides itself on serving delicious meals at a value, all while welcoming guests with a warm, community-focused atmosphere.
Long before “farm to fork” became a trend, Windmill Grill was already committed to fresh, locally grown ingredients. Over the years, guests have enjoyed produce harvested from the restaurant’s own gardens and farms, including sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, melons, berries, and more, along with fresh eggs gathered just hours before they reach the kitchen.
That connection to local agriculture continues through Pumpkin Valley on Dixon Road, where pumpkins, melons, sweet corn, and vegetables are grown throughout the season, as well as a Christmas tree farm started in 2017 on Center Road. By growing much of their own produce and embracing truly local ingredients, Windmill Grill brings the spirit of Indiana agriculture straight to the table.
