Over a century of community prosperity

Since its inception in 1914, the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce has been the heartbeat of our thriving community, fostering growth, innovation, and connectivity among local businesses. The 110th-year anniversary serves as a testament to the enduring spirit of collaboration that defines our local businesses.

Over the past century, the chamber has evolved into a vital force, steering the economic landscape of the Greater Kokomo community. From small enterprises to major corporations, the chamber has been the catalyst for entrepreneurship, providing a platform for networking, mentorship, and resource-sharing.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we reflect on the chamber’s rich history of advocacy, championing the interests of businesses and ensuring a vibrant and sustainable local economy. Through periods of change and challenges, the chamber has remained resilient, adapting to the evolving needs of its members and the community.

Join us in commemorating this milestone, as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a future of continued prosperity and community engagement. Cheers to 110 years of business excellence and community strength!

Let’s celebrate!

On Oct. 29, the chamber will be hosting an open house to commemorate this special milestone. The open house will feature an afternoon filled with food, business meet-and-greets, and giveaways. The first 110 attendees will receive a special gift package from the chamber. Registration can be completed by clicking here. In addition to the open house, the anniversary will be celebrated at this year’s Annual Awards Celebration.

As part of this anniversary, the chamber is seeking historical documents, records, photographs, and other memorabilia to display at the open house and Annual Awards Celebration. If you are interested in donating items or sharing information, please contact Madi Cardenas below.
