WEEK 1
Kokomo Creek Chubs’ Opening Day
Tuesday, May 26
Get ready for a great summer in Kokomo at the home opener of the Kokomo Creek Chubs at Kokomo Municipal Stadium. As a Prospect League summer collegiate baseball team, the Creek Chubs offer more than just the game on the field, creating an entertaining night out for fans of all ages.
The Creek Chubs open their home schedule against the Champion City Half Trax at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 26. Throughout the season, fans can expect engaging in-game activities, themed nights, and a lively ballpark atmosphere. It’s an easygoing, family-friendly way to spend a summer evening in Kokomo.
WEEK 2
Strawberry Festival in downtown Kokomo
Friday, June 5
The Kokomo Strawberry Festival is the official kickoff to summer in Kokomo and one of the community’s most anticipated traditions. Each year, thousands gather in downtown Kokomo on the first Friday of June for a full day of strawberry shortcake, live music, food vendors, art, and family-friendly fun.
Stroll a walkable festival footprint filled with food booths, artisan goods, and handmade items, including the Artsapalooza Art Market. Enjoy live entertainment featuring local talent, kids’ activities and play zones, and — with DORA — craft beer and cocktails along the way. Join the celebration from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2026.
WEEK 3
Creek Chubs’ Home Game
Saturday, June 13
The Kokomo Creek Chubs take the field at Kokomo Municipal Stadium again at 7:05 p.m. in a match-up with the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp. As a Prospect League summer collegiate baseball team, each game offers more than just the game on the field, creating an entertaining night out for fans of all ages.
You can expect engaging in-game activities, themed nights, and a lively ballpark atmosphere.
Kokomo Summer Concert Series
Saturday, June 13
The Kokomo Summer Concert Series delivers free live music all summer long, featuring national, regional, and local performers. Concert-goers can enjoy local food and drinks in a welcoming, smoke-free, family-friendly setting. Held at the Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion in Foster Park, the series kicks off on Saturday, June 13 and is perfect for date nights or gathering with friends.
Just bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening under the stars.
WEEK 4
Creek Chubs’ Home Games
June 18 & June 19
The Kokomo Creek Chubs take on the Danville Dans on Thursday and REX Baseball on Friday. As a Prospect League summer collegiate baseball team, each game offers more than just the game on the field, creating an entertaining night out for fans of all ages.
You can expect engaging in-game activities, themed nights, and a lively ballpark atmosphere.
Haynes Apperson Festival
June 18-20
The Haynes Apperson Festival is three solid days of fun packed with family-friendly activities in downtown Kokomo. The 2026 festival will be held June 18-20, with most of the festivities taking place in Foster Park.
With the festival commemorating Kokomo’s automotive heritage, there will be plenty of cars with a commemorative run, cruise-in and car show planned.

WEEK 5
Creek Chubs’ Home Game
June 26-28 and July 4
The Kokomo Creek Chubs take the field at Kokomo Municipal Stadium for three straight days and again on July Fourth for a special matchup. As a Prospect League summer collegiate baseball team, each game offers more than just the game on the field, creating an entertaining night out for fans of all ages.
Downtown Block Party
Saturday, July 4
A special First Friday event held on Saturday, July 4, in downtown Kokomo.
Set for 1 to 4 p.m., this event will part of a larger community celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday.
